What to tell the contractor
Describe where you see water or staining, when it appears and whether it is getting worse. Mention previous roof repairs and any known roof material. If you already have photos taken safely from an accessible location, ask the contractor how to share them. Do not climb onto the roof to gather information for this form.
A stain does not explain the whole problem
The visible location of moisture may not identify its source. An inspection is needed to understand the roof condition and the work that may be appropriate. An online form cannot diagnose a leak or establish a repair price. Avoid choosing a repair solely because another home showed a similar mark.
Questions for the assessment
Ask how the suspected source was identified, what areas will be checked and what the proposed work is intended to resolve. Clarify whether the contractor is discussing a temporary measure or a completed repair. Ask what follow-up is available if moisture reappears and request the relevant terms in writing.
What happens when you send a request
Our team receives your project details and may connect you with the contractor partner identified in the contact permission. A representative may call to discuss the roof, location and availability. Submitting a request does not schedule an appointment or guarantee an immediate response. If there is an immediate safety hazard, use the appropriate local emergency service.
